A Club Celebrating The Customs and Culture of Germany

Founded in 1971 by a determined group of five people, the German-American Social Club of Nevada initially held its meetings and gatherings in various locations throughout Las Vegas Valley, including members' homes.  With time and growth, the membership corporation purchased its current clubhouse in 1981 at 1110 E. Lake Mead Blvd., North Las Vegas. Our purpose is to provide cultural education, and to preserve German traditions, culture and heritage and to regularly meet in friendship.

Our club is open Sunday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with traditional German fare commonly being served on Saturday nights at 6 p.m.  Our annual events include German entertainment, in-house dance groups and carnival groups and one of the most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations in the region. 

We are always looking for fresh faces and new ideas, and we welcome visitors and new members!  Your first three visits with us do not require a membership, so please stop in.  For membership details, call 702-201-1448 or email GermanAmericanClubNV@gmail.com.
​Im Juni 1971 von einer fest en tschlossenen Gruppe von fünf Personen gegründet, haben die Zusammenkünfte noch an verschiedenen Orten des Las Vegas Valleys stattgefunden. Unser Vereinshaus in welchem der Verein jetzt zuhause ist, wurde 1981 and der Adresse 1110 E. Lake Mead Blvd., in Nord Las Vegas angeschafft. Unsere Absicht ist es, deutsche Traditionen, deutsche Kultur und unser deutsches Erbe zu bewahren und zu vermitteln. Auf unseren Veranstaltungen treffen wir uns in Freudschaft und laden alle dazu ein, dabei mitzumachen, egal ob deutschsprachig oder nicht. Unser Verein ist von Donnerstag bis Samstag geöffnet; Samstags gibt es um 18:00 Uhr immer ein traditionell deutsches Gericht. Unsere jährlich wiederkehrenden Veranstaltungen beinhalten diverse deutsche Unterhaltung, eine hauseigene Volkstanz- und eine Karnevalsgruppe und eines der grössten Oktoberfeste der Region.
