December 10, Saturday 6 p.m. Marsha K. Ross presents a Special Christmas Show and Holiday Dinner with a "Band of Merry Gentlemen" featuring Ronnie Simone on Keys Join us for some merry Fun, Trivia, Jokes, Songs, Food, Drinks, & Friends  Every year, Silvia Brunn spearheads the Children's Christmas Party for the members of GASCON. This year the party will be held on Sunday, December 18, starting at 2pm. There will be refreshments, entertainment by Charlie the Clown, and Santa Claus will bring a gift for each child 10 or younger. If you would like to bring a gift for a child that would like to attend but is older, you are welcome to do so ! Children that sing a song, recite a dance or a poem will get a ticket for a Special Raffle! - Please return the form below to the Club by December 10th. On Saturday, November 19, 2016 we will be holding our annual "Bavarian Night" in Honor of Elsie Lappoehn (1919-2013), Founder of the German-American Club of Nevada. We are planning a fun evening for you ! The Ginger Snaps are providing the music and the Lustigen Schuhplattler, under the direction of Art Ruckle and Reiner Knopp, will make the evening very enjoyable with their beautiful folk dancing ! Silvia and her Haxenmeister Skip and Crew will be the Chefs. You have a choice of Schweinehaxe (pork shank) for $ 17.00 or Beef Rouladen (Top Sirloin stuffed with onion, bacon, and pickle in a brown gravy) for $ 15.00. In celebration of Germany's "5th Season", Karneval, our November Heimatabend theme will be: "Celebrating German Karneval" on Sunday, November 13th at 5:00 pm, doors open at 4:30 pm. This ties in with the Vagabond Grand Opening of Karneval the night before.
