The Las Vegas Bavarians Dance Group GASCON

The Las Vegas Bavarians and Die Lustigen Bayerischen Schuhplattler have ended their dance season for the summer. They will begin practice again in preparation for Oktoberfest! If you’re interested in traditional German dance, please talk with:

The Las vegas Bavarian Dance Group is actually two groups in one: The Folk Dancers and the Schuhplattles; proper name of Die Lustigen Bayerischen Schuhplattler (The Funny Bavarian Shoe Slappers). Even though they really only have 2 seasons,,, they are very busy with dancing all over the city and across the country.

The Las Vegas Bavarians and Die Lustigen Bayerischen Schuhplattlers regularly perform at:

Bockbierfest at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA
Henderson Heritage Days
Bavarian Evening at the German American Social Club of Nevada
El Jen Healthcare Center and Rehabilitation
Maifest at the German American Social Club of Nevada
Oktoberfest here in Las Vegas

They recently also performed at UNLV's Festival of Communities and at Silverado High School.

If you're interested in joining the Dance Group, please send an email web@GermanAmericanClubNV.com or just come to the club Thursday nights for practice. If you participate on a regular basis in dance practice and performances, a dancing outfit will be issued. There are no dues to be a member except for a commitment to participation. Fundraisers through the year go towards dancing costumes. Group President is Art Ruckle.

Popular German Singer and Music TV Show Host.

Andy will be at the
German-American Social Club
for a Live Concert on
Sunday, April 13th
at 3:00 pm.

This has been a real fun event in the past years, and as always,
we be will be doing it
"Picnic Style"
where everyone brings their favorite snacks or appetizers for
themselves and a little to share with your table.

The cash bar will be open
and a complimentary
coffee and dessert buffet
will be available.

Ticket price is $15.00 Dollars.

Proceeds will go the the
Las Vegas German Show.

I'm not quite sure if this is what it will look like but I wanted to express that there will be

STUFFED MEATLOAF
by the Board for dinner!

For $12 you will receive a full meal and dessert.
The bar will be open for drinks. Cash Only.

The Club will hold it's monthly membership meeting and then the POOLE PARTY will entertain with great music and fun!

You don't have to be a club member on your first couple of visits to the club but joining the club is easy! hope to see you there!
